South Africa’s supercar community has officially made history.

On 19 July 2026, the Supercar Rhino Run brought hundreds of exceptional performance cars together in Johannesburg for an unforgettable day of motoring, community and rhino conservation.

At Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit, 243 qualifying supercars and hypercars were officially verified, earning Ferris Hope Foundation NPC the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title for the largest display of supercars/hypercars.

The largest display of supercars/hypercars is 243 and was achieved by Ferris Hope Foundation NPC (South Africa) in Johannesburg, South Africa on 19 July 2026.

For everyone involved in the Supercar Rhino Run, the achievement represents years of growth and a shared commitment to using South Africa’s passion for extraordinary cars to support an important conservation cause.

From FNB Stadium to Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit

The record-breaking journey began at FNB Stadium in Johannesburg, where an extraordinary collection of supercars gathered ahead of the convoy.

Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, McLaren, Aston Martin, Maserati and other performance marques filled the surrounding roads as drivers prepared for the journey to Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit.

For drivers, passengers and spectators, the scale of the event was evident long before the final display was formed. Supercars stretched around FNB Stadium before the convoy made its way through Johannesburg towards one of South Africa’s most celebrated motorsport venues.

At Kyalami, the qualifying vehicles were positioned for the official display and verification process.

The final verified count was 243 supercars and hypercars.

That number placed Ferris Hope Foundation NPC as official GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title holders.

A Supercar World Record With a Greater Purpose

The Supercar Rhino Run has always been about more than extraordinary cars.

The annual event brings South Africa’s supercar community together to raise awareness, funds and Fat Free Long Life milk for orphaned rhino calves supported by Rhino Connect NPO.

A single rhino calf undergoing rehabilitation can require up to 20 litres of milk every day. Ongoing support therefore plays an important role in helping organisations care for calves orphaned through poaching.

What began as a relatively small charity convoy has developed into a major South African automotive event capable of placing rhino conservation in front of a much larger audience.

Achieving a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title has taken that opportunity even further.

The spectacle of 243 supercars gathered at Kyalami attracted the attention of automotive enthusiasts, spectators, content creators and media, providing a powerful platform to tell the story of South Africa’s rhinos.

Those who would like to contribute can support Rhino Connect and its conservation work.

From 30 Cars to 243 Record Breakers

The growth of the Supercar Rhino Run makes the achievement particularly significant.

Founded in 2021, the event began with a convoy of just 30 cars. Five years later, that community had grown large enough to achieve an internationally recognised record.

The journey has been supported by drivers who return year after year, new participants joining the cause, volunteers, conservation supporters and corporate partners who help make the event possible.

Ferris Cars has proudly powered the Supercar Rhino Run from its early years, helping bring together a community with a shared appreciation for performance motoring and a desire to support rhino conservation.

The People Behind the 243

A record of this scale requires far more than cars.

At the heart of the Supercar Rhino Run every year is Ferris Cars, whose team drives the planning, coordination and delivery of the event, bringing together the automotive community, partners and conservation cause behind it.

Drivers and passengers committed their time and vehicles. Volunteers and marshals helped manage the convoy across Johannesburg, while counting teams supported the verification process. Photographers, videographers and content creators captured the day for audiences far beyond Kyalami.

Event partners and sponsors provided essential support, with Ferris Hope Foundation and Rhino Connect helping keep the conservation purpose at the centre of the event.

When the official result was announced, the number 243 represented the combined effort of Ferris Cars and the wider community that helped make the record possible.

Celebrating South African Supercar Culture

South Africa has a remarkable community of supercar owners, collectors and performance-car enthusiasts.

The 2026 Supercar Rhino Run provided an opportunity to showcase that community at an unprecedented scale.

Many of the marques represented at the event are also part of the specialist automotive world supported by Ferris Workshop, where sports, luxury, classic and supercars receive specialist servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and restoration.

From modern hybrid supercars and track-focused machines to celebrated classics, the diversity of the 243-car display reflected just how broad South Africa’s performance motoring community has become.

Welcome to the SCL Festive Tour 2025

Imagine a festive escape where the thrill of the open road meets the magic of the season — a journey designed not just for driving enthusiasts, but for those who crave unforgettable moments and breath taking scenery.

We begin our adventure on Thursday morning, gathering at the renowned Ferris Cars as engines purr in anticipation and spirits rise with the promise of what lies ahead. From there, we glide into the comfort and elegance of the Polokwane Ranch Resort, setting the tone for a weekend of relaxed luxury and shared passion.

Friday leads us through the heart of Magoebaskloof Pass a route carved into emerald mountains and misty valleys until we arrive at the charming Tzaneen Country Lodge, where warm hospitality and serene surroundings invite us to unwind. On Saturday, the road calls once more as we venture to Hoedspruit, letting our cars dance along scenic routes before returning to the lodge to gather around a festive Christmas dinner for a celebration of friendship, the love of the drive, and the joy of the season.

Feed The Baby Rhino Run – 30th OCTOBER

Ferris has arranged a very special outing for our clients and friends.
On Saturday 30th October we are going to Klerksdorp to visit the “Little Rhino Orphanage” where we will feed the babies, have a tour of the complex, return to the lodge for dinner and a chance to name one of the rhino’s.
The trip will incorporate a nights stay at the Grootbosch Lodge, just outside Klerksdorp. The lodge is Ferrari friendly, so anyone attending must come in their Cavallino!
Due to limited space at the lodge, we can only accommodate ten couples.

Cost is R1840 Per Person Sharing.

Rhino Milk Drive – SUNDAY 1st AUGUST

We expected 10 cars, we got 30. We expected to collect a couple of hundred litres of milk, we collected over two thousand litres.

Thank you to everyone who attended the rhino milk drive and donated milk.

A baby rhino will drink about twenty litres per day, so what we collected will be a big help.
We have set up a WhatsApp group for those who would like to be part of future events involving and supporting the rhino’s.
We are planning more runs, visits to the rhino sanctuaries, weekends away, and even some Grand Prix Tours.
