Newsletter 6: TO TOUR OR NOT TO TOUR?
To tour or not to tour? That is the question.
We, as with most of you, will agree that the Covid situation has dragged on long enough and hopefully, it won’t be too long before things can get back to normal, albeit a different normal, but better than we are experiencing at the moment.
With this in mind, we thought it wise to start planning for things that could possibly happen later in the year.
You won’t see this many Ferrari’s in one place… anywhere else in the world !!!
Every year, Ferrari S.p.a holds their end-of-year celebratory function, this year at the Mugello Circuit in Italy. The event features F1 cars from Corsa Clienti, FX, FXX, FXXK, GT championships and current F1 drivers in a “Not To Be Missed” Ferrari weekend. The tour Departs Johannesburg Wednesday 3rd November in the evening and returns on Monday 8th November in the afternoon.
The tour covers four nights (six, including flights). Hotel accommodation, for the duration, in Florence. As well as two days of Ferrari overload at Mugello, the tour features additional activities on Thursday and Friday, including lunch at the famous Cavallino restaurant in Maranello (opposite the factory), guided tour of the museum, test drives in various Ferraris, visit the wine estate (with wine tasting) owned by the two remaining descendants of Lisa del Giocondo, the lady painted in Leonardo da Vinci’s most iconic piece, the Mona Lisa.
The tour includes flights, accommodation, transfers, Ferrari hospitality at Mugello, pit passes at Mugello, museum tour, Ferrari drives and select lunches and dinners.

The inclusive cost of the tour is likely to be in the region of R55,000 per person sharing.
